Marquis Flowers is a family run business in  operation since 1931. We have provided Lethbridge,  Southern Alberta, South Eastern British Columbia  and South-western Saskatchewan with quality flowers and plants at affordable prices continuously since opening in 1931.

Product quality is of utmost importance to us-- we 
will only buy the freshest product from our growers and
 refuse any product order where a doubt exists. From the time fresh flowers arrive at our location, we immediately process and re-hydrate all stems in proven water solutions, allowing flowers to have a good drink before placing in one of our three walk in coolers. Buckets of flowers are date coded to only have the freshest used for either cut stems or arrangements. (This is generally not required as flowers come and go so fast that they are never in the store long enough to get old).

Flowers are ordered in four times a week (more often at holiday times) with the bulk being bought from the Vancouver BC floral auction. Exotic varieties are bought world wide through trusted brokers ensuring only the best are available for the retail customer.

Product selection varies seasonally, but  "Marquis Flowers" generally has on hand 50 to 60 different varieties of flowers for the greatest possible selection. All are tastefully displayed in the coolers with common names and everyday low prices. If a special request for flowers for wedding or sympathy is needed, we can generally have a specific variety and color in a couple days notice.

Pricing of what we feel is a fresher, superior product is generally lower than any tradition florist, and comparable to grocery chain, discount sellers pricing. Pricing does tend to fluctuate more than tradition florists, because we pass savings we have made directly to the customer.

Staff Our staff is both knowledgeable and experienced in providing you with professional advice and design answers to fit your every need. We have nine regular designers and numerous qualified people to fill in on those holiday rush periods. Support staff in sales are both knowledgeable and courteous and willing to listen to your needs before offering suggestions- for that special floral arrangement that's just right for you. From our flower prep personnel, to our delivery staff, any better can not be found.

We use three of our own delivery vans to ensure that when we call to arrange a delivery time, your flowers are there promptly and in the best possible condition. We don't feel that common carrier delivery people know, or care how to handle flowers, whether in the heat of summer or freezing cold of winter.
